NUTLEY, NJ - The Township of Nutley is mourning the 7th death due to COVID-19 Coronavirus. The latest fatality was reported in the daily report by the County of Essex on April 4. The report was published after the morning report from the Nutley Office of Emergency Management (OEM). 

There are currently 164 confirmed cases of coronavirus in Nutley.

The Nutley OEM stresses that "due to federal privacy regulations, the Township cannot share detailed information on cases."

The report also shows a municipality by municipality count. There are currently 3565 confirmed cases in the county and 156 deaths. 

Belleville 230 cases, 16 deaths.

Bloomfield 220 cases, 11 deaths.

Caldwell 32 cases, 2 deaths.

Cedar Grove 52 cases, 2 deaths.

East Orange 356 cases, 8 deaths.

Essex Fells 12 cases, death.

Fairfield 32 cases.

Glen Ridge 18 cases, 1 death.

Irvington 306 cases, 9 deaths.

Livingston 159 cases, 15 deaths. 

Maplewood 72 cases, 1 death.

Millburn 63 cases, 1 death.

Montclair 150 cases, 17 deaths.

Newark 1117 cases, 35 deaths.

North Caldwell 18 cases, 1 death. 

Nutley 164 cases, 7 deaths.

Orange 187 cases, 10 deaths.

Roseland 30 cases, 5 deaths.

South Orange 35 cases.

Verona 39 cases, 2 deaths.

West Caldwell 37 cases, 4 deaths.

West Orange 236 cases, 8 deaths. 

Statewide there are 29, 895 confirmed cases and 646 deaths. 

NJ Gov. Phil Murphy ordered all flags to be flown at half-staff to serve as a "constant and visible memorial" to those lost to COVID-19 Coronavirus.
