NUTLEY, NJ - The Nutley Police Department is advising resident that the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) is not going door to door in the township in response to coronavirus.
The department issued a community advisory after social media reports surfaced with reports of individuals claiming to be from the CDC. The department stressed that the CDC is not deploying teams of people to go door to door to ask questions.
Nutley Police advise that residents should not let them in and should not speak to them.
Anyone that solicits should have a township solicitors Identification card, if they do not, contact the Nutley Police Department at 973-284-4940.
