NEW BRUNSWICK, NJ - You've heard of Elf on a Shelf. How about a Sidekick in New Brunswick?

One of Santa's not-so-little helpers took its place on Monday atop 37 Easton Ave., where he can watch the city get into the holiday spirit.

The Saxum Elf is nearly 12 feet tall. The real estate company said the elf is a token of its appreciation for the communities and downtowns that have welcomed Saxum since its inception in 2014.
