WOODLAND PARK, NJ - A candidate for the Woodland Park Board of Education was arrested on Oct. 5 on charges of driving while intoxicated.
According to the Woodland Park Police Department, Jason Snyder was stopped by police on Sibel Court at 11:39 p.m. on Saturday Oct. 5.
Snyder failed a field sobriety test, was handcuffed and arrested. He was transported to Woodland Park police headquarters without incident. He has a court date of Nov. 6, one day after the Nov. 5 election.
Snyder is one of five candidates vying for three seats on the school board.
