CLIFTON, NJ - Officers from the Police Department in the City of Clifton made an arrest in connection with a stolen vehicle from Nutley and items stolen from an unlocked car.
According to police reports, the Nutley Police Department was contacted by the Clifton Police Department on Tuesday Aug. 27 about the arrest.
The police determined that the vehicle at the center of the case was stolen from a driveway on Cathedral Ave. Cathedral Ave is near the Nutley - Clifton border.
It was further determined that a purse in the stolen vehicle was stolen from an unlocked vehicle on North Road in Nutley.
The suspect in the case, Angel Lucero, 20, of Passaic, was charged with burglary, two counts of theft. He was transported to the Passaic County jail.
