NUTLEY, NJ - The Nutley Police Department received a report this week that "Nutley Bike Shop" sign was taken from building sometime before April 2.

According to the police, the sign was last seen at the entrance door of the building. Police do not know the value of the sign.

The building, known as "The Bike Shop Building" and "The Davis Building" is owned by the Township of Nutley. The building made headlines in February after a fire. At the time, it was reported that the building would be torn down. Due to the upheaval related to the COVID-19 Cornoavirus pandemic, it is not known when the required inspections and permits will be issued to move the process along.
