NUTLEY, NJ - A 48-year-old township resident was arrested and issued several summonses following a motor vehicle incident that caused damage to a fence. The motorist's passenger was also issued a summons.
According to the Nutley Police Department, officers were called to a dispute on Washington Ave on Memorial Day, May 25. Gina Scrudato,48, was subsequently arrested and charged with Operating A Motor Vehicle During License Suspension, Operating Under Influence, Failure to Install Interlock/Drive Car W/O Interlock, Driving After DL/Registration Suspended/Revoked, Careless Driving: Operate Motor Vehicle Causing Property Damage, Failure to Report Accident, and Leaving Scene of Accident Involving Property Damage.
Her passenger, who was not identified by police, was issued a summons for allowing a person under the influence to operate a motor vehicle.
Scrudato was released to a family member.
