NUTLEY, NJ - A parishioner of a Roman Catholic church walked into Nutley Police Department headquarters on Tuesday to report that their prescription medications were stolen from their purse during Holy Eucharist. 

According to police reports, the victim reported that they were attending services at church on Monsignor Owens Pl. when they left their pew to serve Communion. They had left their purse open and unattended during this part of the service.

Later in the evening they noticed that their prescriptions medications were missing.

The victim feels as if someone took the medications from the purse while they were receiving communion.
