NUTLEY, NJ - Social media lit up on Tuesday of this week as Washington School and Little Angels day care were put on notice as an incident unfolded at Eastwick College on Park Ave.
According to reports from the Nutley Police Department, a student at Eastwick made threatening remarks during class. Police confirmed, after meeting with school adminstrators, that an adult student made statements that cuased concern. The students statements were made after an argument in class.
As the investigation was going on, Washington elementary school and the day care center were put on notice. Nutley parents on social media described the situation at Washington as a "lock-down."
After the investigation, Nutley police charged a 26 year old Paterson man with making terroristic threats and harassment. Bryant Perez-Mina was released pending a court hearing.
