NUTLEY, NJ - A toddler, who wandered off from a local pre-k, was reunited with his parents unharmed after being found on Franklin Ave.

According to a report from the Nutley Police Department, the child left the preschool on Monday, crossed High St. and was stopped by a concerned citizen. The unnamed citizen safeguarded the child and waited for police to arrive.

The Nutley Police Department reports that it "appeared that the child walked out of an opened door."
