NUTLEY, NJ - A Kia Sorrento, stolen from an Albany Ave. driveway, was found by the Clifton Police Department after it was involved in a hit and run accident in that Passaic County community.

According to a report by the Nutley Police Department, the Kia Sorrento was parked in the driveway of an Albany Ave. residence in Nutley. The owner of the vehicle wass cleaning it earlier in the day and may have left the key fob within the vehicle.

After being entered as stolen by Nutley police, Clifton police contacted Nutley to report that they had the vehicle. The person who was driving the KIa at the time of the accident fled the scene.

At this time the Nutley Police Department Detective Bureau is investigating the case.
