NUTLEY, NJ - Saint Patrick is accompanied by Fr. Tom Nicastro of St. Mary's Roman Catholic Church at Nutley's St. Patrick's Day parade. The two are leading the way for Pope Francis.

When in Rome, Pope Francis often borrows a Ford Focus from the Vatican motor pool, but this being America where everything we do is big, he opted for a Red Ford 350 at Saturday's parade. Francis is no stranger to St. Mary's, the township has become accustomed to his joining St. Mary's parade entry, but many people don't realize that he also spent time at the church's annual Mardi Gras celebration.
