Cruise Night Rolls Onto Main Street at Pyanoe Plaza at 6 p.m.
Main Street will take a step back from 6 to 9 p.m. when hundreds of vintage and classic and motorcycles will be on display along the two-block stretch between Eighth and 10th Avenues.
A DJ will be spinning tunes from the 1950s and 1960s in the event’s main hub at Pyanoe Plaza, as many downtown merchants and eateries will join in the festivities.
Presented by the Belmar Business Partnership, Cruise Night has grown to become one of the area’s most-anticipated events of its kind, not only among car enthusiasts, but for visitors who enjoy taking a stroll down Main Street when it turns into a showcase of cars from yesteryear.
For participants, check-in and registration will be held in Belmar Plaza between Eighth and 10th Avenues, in the parking lot behind Pyanoe Plaza. Move-in is from 5 to 6 p.m. Dash plaques will be given to all cars.
Rain date is Thursday, July 19. Registration and admission is free. Cars dating back to 1986 and earlier are eligible to enter the free event. The summer’s second Cruise Night will be held on Wednesday, August 22.
