Commissioner Mauro G. Tucci announces the addition of a Kindergarten Division to the Recreation Soccer Program!  Children that will be entering Kindergarten this September are now eligible for registration.

This program is designed to assist young players in developing basic skills of the game while offering a fun, semi-competitive environment.  Recreation soccer is a great opportunity for youngsters to exercise and have fun in a safe, social environment.  We strive to make the experience of playing soccer FUN for all the players.   We teach respect for the game and for all participants, coaches, teammates, referees, and opposing players.  We also teach the fundamentals of soccer so that players are prepared to meet the physical demands of the sport and to play the game in a safe manner.

This league will play all games in town.  Try outs are not required for Recreation Soccer.  All applicants that submit their registration before the deadline of August 22, 2019 are guaranteed to be placed on a team.  Practices and games begin in mid-September.  We encourage parents to take time out and become volunteer coaches.  Volunteers are an important part of making our programs successful.  If you are interested in becoming a coach, please contact the Recreation Department for coaching regulations.  All coaches are required to be fingerprinted and also, attend the Rutgers Safety Clinic held at the Nutley Recreation Department.

If you need further information please contact the Recreation Department at (973)284-4966, between the hours of 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday.  Online registration is available at https://register.communitypass.net/nutley.
