MIAMI — Mike Gesicki, Stafford Township's home town hero, grabbed the second touchdown pass of his career on Sunday against the Philadelphia Eagles. The Eagles are fighting for the title in the mediocre NFC East Division and were disappointed in the stunning 37-31 loss to Miami on Sunday.

There were a lot of area Eagles fans watching the game hoping Mike had a strong contest. They cheered for Mike, but most importantly cheered for the Eagles to get the victory. It lined up as an easy game. The Eagles had a record of 5-6 while the lowly Dolphins were only 2-9.  But for Eagles fans, Thanksgiving weekend ended on a sour note due to Gesicki and the Dolphins gaining their third win of the season.

The Eagles are in the second place in the NFC East behind the Dallas Cowboys who own a 6-6 record. Philadelphia is now 5-7.
