"We started as a one night program with 13 short films and we've since grown to a four-day program with feature films and short films from all over the world," said WIFF Executive Director, Gina Marie Rodriguez

Formerly the Rahway Int'l Film Festival, the WIFF celebrates diversity, inclusion and women in film. This year's honoree is actress/musician Persia White, who is best known as Abby Bennett Wilson on TV's "The Vampire Diaries"

Rodriguez added: "I'm so grateful that we're able to screen the works of other talented filmmakers - they're fantastic and they fly in from all over the world.. it's really humbling to see."
