PARAMUS, N.J. – Bergenstages, a borough-based theatre troupe, will present its first production of the season, “Picnic,” beginning Friday, October 25 at 7:30 p.m. in Bergen Community College’s Ender Hall Theatre on the Paramus campus located at 400 Paramus Road.

"Picnic," a Pulitzer Prize winning play written by William Inge, tells the tale of a group of lonely women preparing for an annual picnic in a small Kansas town whose lives are disrupted by the appearance of a charming drifter. The romantic drama explores love, relationships, marriage, rites of passage and disappointments. 

The show will run Friday, Oct. 25, Saturday, Oct. 26, Thursday, Oct. 31, Friday, Nov. 1, and Saturday, Nov. 2 at 7:30 p.m. On Saturday, Oct. 26 and Saturday, Nov. 2, matinee performances will take place at 2 p.m.
