A recent video taken late on Monday October 29th depicts an on duty Hasbrouck Heights Police Officer removing Democratic political lawn signs on Route 17 South by the Franklin Street off ramp.

It is common during election season for political signs to be placed upon highly traved rightaways.

The current Mayor of Hasbrouck Heights, Jack Delorenzo, is a candidate for Bergen County Sheriff. It is unclear if the signs taken down included any of his opposition. He is running against Democrat Anthony Cureton and independents, Robert Kugler, James Ahern, and Robert Tormo. The election is tomorrow, Tuesday November 6th. Polls are open from 6am to 8pm.
