PARAMUS, NJ – Starting May 31, a portion Paramus Road will be closed completely to traffic as the New Jersey Department of Transportation replaces the overpass above Route 4.

The road will be shut in both directions and all ramps to the highway will be closed, according to police. Drivers are urged to anticipate delays and plan alternate routes, if possible, during the construction period.

The $5 million bridge replacement project is expected to last about three weeks.
