PARKLAND, FL- Parkland residents can now head to the beach in our own county, albeit with a number of restrictions. Broward County has now officially opened its beaches, gyms, and hotels as of today with occupancy and social distancing restrictions.

A number of gyms within the county had begun to open already, depending on the posture of the city they are located. As of today, they are officially allowed to be open in the entire county. Hotels and motels are now open with a number of sanitizing and procedural restrictions.

The beaches of Broward County, while open, will not allow for any static activity or gatherings of more than ten people. The beaches will be open for basic exercise within social distancing guidelines.
