PARKLAND, FL- With the Coronavirus social distancing in place, the City of Coral Springs brought the 4th of July parade to its residents. 

The motorcade parade was headed by Coral Springs Police on motorcycles. Many city vehicles participated in the parade including Coral Springs- Parkland Fire Department, Coral Springs Police, Humane Unit and Parks and Rec, Cody Compliance, Emergency Management. 

City Leaders were also on hand waving from their decorated vehicles, including Coral Springs Commissioners Joshua Simmons, Shawn Cerra and Larry Vignola. Florida House Representative Dan Daley also took part in the parade. Previously, he served as a City Commissioner and Vice Mayor of Coral Springs.

Residents were able to kick off the holiday season enjoying the parade outside their homes while  maintaining social distancing.
