PARKLAND, FL- Stoneman Douglas Boys Basketball won their fifth straight game tonight at home. Douglas beat Monarch tonight 53-42. They got off to a slow start and trailed 19-12 at the half. Douglas Eagles came out strong in the second half and out scored their opponent 41-23 in the second half.  "Another gut check win for the guys. They had to fight for that one." Coach Orlando McCorney said. Junior RJ Rowe lead the team with 18 points followed by Junior Derek Miller with 13. The Eagles improve their record to 11-7.
