PARKLAND, FL- Heron Heights held their Annual Fun Run today. Each grade participated in a run to earn money for the Heron Heights PTO. The individual student's goal was to raise $100. Money raised will be used for media enhancements, teacher programing, update some outdoor play equipment, as well as school programs such as Multi Cultural Arts Night.

The PTO motivated students by providing individual prizes and class prizes for participation. Classes with 100% participation won a pizza party and classes that met their class goal won an ice cream party. Students who raised $350 or more were awarded Super Stars status which awarded them a ride on a game truck and the opportunity to silly string the principals. 

Between the students and school sponsors, a grand total of $77,000 was raised.
