Parkland Library to Host Memorial Day Ceremony, May 23

PARKLAND, FL - The Parkland Library will mark Memorial Day on Wednesday, May 23 from 6:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.  The observance will include a presentation of colors by Westglades Middle School JROTC and a performance of taps and The Star-Spangled Banner by an ensemble from Westglades Band. 

In addition, harpist Darlene Weingarten will provide background music for attendees who can choose to write notes or create coloring pages to add to a memorial message board.

Registration is not required for this event.
