Parkland’s annual Snowfest event is returning on December 20 from 5:00-8:00 p.m. at Pine Trails Park. This event has become a favorite among Parkland residents. Kids and adults alike look forward to it all year as demonstrated by a sold out venue in years past. Snowfest provides an experience for many children and adults to explore and play in snow for the first time. The event is complete with snow, snow filled slides, crafts, food trucks and so much more. Families get the chance to build snowmen, make snow angels and make and throw snowballs. It’s truly a unique experience to enjoy the fun aspects of snow while in 70-80 degree weather. It is another event that Parkland hosts that contributes to the close-knit feel of this community. "It truly is a lot of fun to play in Florida snow for one night," Parkland resident Jody King said. “We just love the night with our community.”

Pre-registration opens Monday, December 3 at 9:00 a.m. There is a $5.00 pre-registration fee required. Space is limited to Parkland residents only. Residents can purchase up to 4 additional wristbands per household for non-resident family and friends. You can register at Webtrac, at the P-REC or call 954-757-4105.
