PARKLAND, FL- Veteran's Day is almost here. One of the highlights of celebrating Veteran's Day Weekend in Parkland is the Soldier Rush Race that will be held on Saturday morning, November 9, at 7 a.m. at the Equestrian Center.
According to Soldier Rush, the race experience is physically demanding but also a lot of fun. "Participants must overcome various physical challenges such as climbing over walls, carrying objects, and more. They must do all of these various tasks over grass and trail for 3.1 miles. Soldier rush, now in its 5th year, is the epitome of the military boot camp obstacle race. With Patriotism at the heart of the event, SOLDIER RUSH gives a real Military Boot Camp experience, testing the endurance, strength, speed, and dexterity of its participants in a fun and friendly atmosphere!"
Soldier Rush was created in 2015 as an event to support U.S. Veterans and First Responders. The race is not only a uniting force on Veterans Day Weekend, but also uses funds raised to benefit local charities such as Parkland Cares.
