PARKLAND, FL- Stoneman Douglas boys basketball team won their 4th straight road game tonight 68-65 against Coral Springs. The Eagles took an early lead 29-14 after the first quarter. Coral Springs tightened Douglas' lead each quarter. Coral Springs made the push in the 4th quarter but Douglas dug in and got the win. Senior Matt Fisher lead the team with 28 points. "I'm proud of how my guys weathered the storm of their run and foul trouble," stated Stoneman Douglas Coach Orlando McCorvey. "These guys have been fighting adversity all year and I'm not surprised they fought through and pulled out this win. This was a huge win not just because of a district matchup, but it was another win we had to earn. Those are the wins you have to find a way to get to the playoffs."

Stoneman Douglas improves their overall record to 10-7.

The Eagles have a home game on Tuesday, January 22 at 7:30 p.m. against Monarch.  Monarch's record is 10-7.
