Man Fatally Shot in Central Broward

A Tamarac man was shot in broad daylight Sunday afternoon in unincorporated Central Broward County.  Broward Sheriff's Office homicide detectives are now asking the public for information that will help catch the killer. 

Around 2:30 p.m. on July 8, 31-year-old Jeremy McKinnon was in the 2800 block of N.W. 14 St. near Ft. Lauderdale when he was shot.  Though he doesn't live in the area, he's known to frequent the neighborhood. It is believed the suspect fled in a vehicle. 

The victim was pronounced dead by Lauderhill Fire Rescue. 

Anyone with information is asked to contact BSO Homicide Detective Kevin Nitsch at 954-321-4876. Anonymous tips that lead to an arrest are eligible for a reward of up to $3,000.
