PARKLAND, FL- The snow was falling in Parkland Thursday night. The city's annual Snowfest event at Pine Trails Park turned the lawn into a winter wonderland. Children ran from one snow activity to the next throughout the evening, as the light rain added to winter scene. Kids enjoyed playing in the snow, making snow angels, and sledding down snow-filled hills. The winter-themed bounce houses were also a big hit.  Children and adults alike enjoyed the magic of the snow globe atmosphere in Parkland.

"The snow was really cool and there was a wide variety of things to do. The slides were really fun and fast," shared 11 year old Snowfest attender, Jada.

Locally sponsored tents shared holiday treats, food trucks were on hand, and the amphitheater featured live entertainment throughout the evening.
