PARKLAND, FL- Hundreds gathered at Pine Trails park on Friday night for Parkland's Halloween Festival and Trunk or Treat. Families enjoyed food trucks, pumpkins, live entertainment and trunk or treating from area businesses. Students volunteers were on hand to help with the event and were recognized for their service to the city of Parkland.

Sisters Gaby and Sofia Vanegas were two of the attendees enjoying the night. "I was having a lot of fun because I was trunk or treating and listening to the music. The break dancing cow was funny!" said 5 year-old Gaby.

The evening was a hit, as children walked away with smiles on their faces and bags full of candy. "It was Candy-tastic," raved 8 year-old Nicholas King.
