PARKLAND, FL- TAPinto.net is pleased to announce that Parkland resident Gina Pfingsten has franchised TAPinto Parkland.
Gina Pfingsten is a graduate of The College of St. Scholastica in Duluth, Minnesota, with a Master's Degree in Physical Therapy. As a therapist, Pfingsten has 18 years of inpatient and outpatient experience in variety of settings. She was selected to the Cloquet Community Memorial Hospital leadership board and and currently serves the local community at Aspen Rehabilitation in Coral Springs, FL.
Pfingsten has also been a community organizer for 15 years. Her leadership and organizational efforts include PTA and PTO involvement at elementary schools, overseeing fundraising campaigns for schools, establishing outreach programs through the Vineyard church, and youth sports coaching. In 2012, Pfingsten established a fundraising program for a local youth with leukemia that not only covered medical expeneses for the family, but set a new standard for fundraising and supporting local families in need. She also loves to volunteer and support local animal shelters and the humane society.
Gina is married to Matt Pfingsten, and the couple have five children ranging from ages 4 to 12. When not running around to youth sports and school events, Pfingsten loves to spend her time learning about current events in the Parkland community.
"I love the community of Parkland," says Gina. "My goal is to share what our community members of all ages are doing and accomplishing. I look forward to sharing the stories and events of our city with our TAPinto readers."
