PARKLAND, FL- Parkland's Chamber of Commerce has commenced activity for the 2020 calendar year, beginning with the addition of new board members and chairperson for the year ahead.

The new Chair of the Parkland Chamber of Commerce is Corlette Deveaux, Founder of A Joyful Heart Senior Services, an Adult Day Care, and Deveaux Group Incorporated, a Global Insurance agency. Deveaux is known throughout the area as an advocate for Seniors and their families. She has also spent over 20 years in sales and marketing leadership positions within the Pharmaceutical and Biotechnology industries. 

Deveaux is excited to be the new Chair of the Parkland Chamber and is looking forward to the opportunities ahead for the local business community as they focus on the Chamber’s mission of promoting the well-being of the Parkland business community while promoting quality of life in the city.

Deveaux is joined on the board by two new board members Doug Eaton and Leo Gordon. Eaton is the Principal of Eaton Financial Group and Gordon, the CEO of MVP Environmental Solutions.  The Board is committed to fostering a welcoming, professional environment for business owners at any stage of their development.

Nicole Roman, President of the Chamber and Owner of Roman Consulting states, “I recognize the need to appreciate and manage the growth of the chamber while doing everything possible to keep our community as connected as ever.”

Roman and Deveaux conclude that, although the Parkland Chamber is on a growth trajectory, they will continue to have the ‘hometown’ feel that is appealing to so many local residents.
