PARKLAND, FL- The Kassim Legacy Foundation typically offers free public speaking workshops for middle and elementary school students a couple of times per year. Thanks to technology the foundation is able to continue to offer these services even through the Coronavirus pandemic season. The free online workshops will be held through Zoom for elementary and middle school students. The workshops will provide an excellent introduction to Speech and Debate and offer elite training and coaching.

The Kassim Legacy Foundation was founded by high school sophomore and Parkland resident Sinan Kassim. " I founded the Kassim Legacy Foundation to encourage the younger generation to engage in public speaking, speech and debate," shared Kassim.

The Public Speaking Virtual Workshops will focus on teaching students to articulate ideas, opinions and stories. The workshops will feature interactive and fun activities designed to help students feel empowered to use their voice.

“Every student deserves a chance to allow their voice to be heard! Our goal is to empower youth through public speaking, to be powerful leaders, communicators, youth ambassadors, and global change agents," added Kassim.
