PARKLAND, FL- The students at Riverglades Elementary School received a special message earlier this week from the teachers and staff. The children returned to learning in a way unfamiliar to both students and teachers alike. The Riverglades teachers and staff wanted the students to see the familiar faces they are accustomed to seeing as they enter school each morning. Unable to greet their students in person, Riverglades Elementary created a video featuring messages from teachers and staff welcoming them back.

"Even though we are apart, remember we are Gators, we are family, and we always have each other in our hearts. Miss you!" shared Jo-Anne Seltzer.

The open arms of the administrators, teachers, and staff created a positive entrance back to the "classroom" the students will share for the foreseeable future. A new era of academia has begun in Parkland.
