PARKLAND, FL- This past week the Riverglades Kindergarten team hosted their annual Gingerbread Night. It was an evening filled with families, frosting, candy and gingerbread houses. Kindergartners and their families filled the cafeteria to decorate their gingerbread houses together. Children were able to put their newly learned math skills to practice as they purchased decorating supplies for 1-5 cents on their way to a very enjoyable and successful evening.

"I had fun at Gingerbread Night because I got to see all my friends and decorate my house," said kindergarten student Malia.

The annual event was one of many activities the Parkland elementary schools hold to celebrate the Holiday Season. It was a joyous night that families will remember for years to come.
