PARKLAND, FL- After years of helping import fine wines to New York and the United States, Glenn and Emily Basser are now bringing the same high quality wines home to Parkland. Glenn Basser has been in the fine wine and beverage industry for over two decades, and Emily, a former teacher at Heron Heights Elementary School, has been supportive and involved in the entire process, building a local wine ship from the ground up. On October 5, the Bassers will be hosting the Grand Opening of Basser's Fine Wine and Craft Beer in Parkland.
"The goal is to have a world class wine shop in Parkland," shared Glenn. "In Florida, it's hard to find world class wine. When people walk in here, they'll find something different than they find in the supermarket."
Not only will Basser's Fine Wine and Craft Beer feature wines from all over the world, but they will also provide many of those difficult-to-find local craft beers. Over 1,000 different wines and 35 local craft beers will be on hand and available.
"We want to give people what they want for the price they want. We'll be on hand to help them choose anything that they desire. The best fine wines and craft beers will be available here in Parkland," shared Emily.
The Grand Opening of Basser's Fine Wine and Craft Beer will be on Saturday, October 5, from 12:30 - 3:30 p.m., including a ribbon cutting ceremony. The entire family is invited to join the event. Children's activities will be on hand as well as wine and beer tasting for the adults.
Once the shop is open, they will have wine and beer tastings every Saturday afternoon from 2-4 p.m. Basser's are also making their space an event-friendly location with a beautiful party room in the back of the shop designed to host small events. Basser's Fine Wine and Craft Beer plans to be open from 10:30 a.m. until 8:30 p.m. Monday through Saturday.
Basser’s Fine Wine and Craft Beer is located at 6240 Coral Ridge Drive.
