PARKLAND, FL- The Greater Broward Chapter of The PapCorps will hold their annual fundraiser Yoga for Hope and Healing on March 9 at 10:00 a.m. at the Wyndham Hotel in Boca Raton. Early bird tickets are $40 through February 9 and increase to $50 after February 9. Anyone that registers will receive an event tank top. The event includes lead by yoga instructor Lisa Ponczek and DJ. Salvatore Vecchio. In addition to yoga, there will be shopping and raffles.

Funds raised during the event will be donated for cancer research at Sylvester Comprehensive Cancer Center, University of Miami. Sylvester Comprehensive Cancer Center at the University of Miami is among an elite group of 11 cancer centers across the country. It is beneficial to our community to have this nationally ranked cancer treatment center so close to provide ground breaking treatment to offer the best outcomes possible.
The Pap Corps, name after famed Miami-area cancer detection research doctor George Papanicolaou, is an all-volunteer nonprofit with 53 local branches and over 21,000 members. In 2010, the Greater Broward Chapter began with approximately 20 members. To date, the Greater Broward Chapter has 250 members in the Parkland/Coral Springs/Coconut Creek area. Current annual membership fees are $40.00 with additional opportunities to participate in fundraising events.
