PARKLAND, FL- Florida continued to show record high Coronavirus cases over the weekend. According to the Florida Department of Health, Saturday saw a new daily record high of 9,585 new cases of Coronavirus. 

Here are the current numbers as of the latest update on Monday, June 29, 2020:

Florida has 146,341 confirmed cases of COVID-19, an increase of 23,381 in 3 days.

Broward County has 15,045 confirmed cases, an increase of 3,890 in 3 days.

Parkland has 72 confirmed cases, an increase of 11 in 3 days. 

Coral Springs has 605 confirmed cases, an increase of 76 in 3 days. 

Deaths in Florida related to COVID-19: 3,447 an increase of 81 in 3 days.

 

With the significant increase in new cases Broward County has issued a temporary Closure of Broward County Beaches. All beaches in Broward County will be closed from 12:01 a.m. on Friday, July 3, 2020, until 11:59 p.m. on Sunday, July 5, 2020.
