PARKLAND, FL- Two significant public spaces in Parkland, the Parkland Library and Parkside Drive, will be temporarily closed due to construction in the next few weeks.

The Parkland Library will be expanding, and a new transformer needs to be installed as part of the project. The Library itself will be closed on Saturday, June 29 and Sunday, June 30 as new electric lines are installed along with the transformer. The Parkland Library will be back to regular hours on Monday, July 1, opening at 10 a.m.

Parkside Drive in Parkland will be closed for roadway construction at the north end, just beyond the Parkland Tennis Center, for the first week of July. Approximate dates of closure will be July 1 through July 8 and are dependent upon weather. Parkside Drive will also be experiencing single lane closures through the of the summer as road work progresses.
