PARKLAND, FL- Many Americans are aware that the first Tuesday in November is an important voting day. This year, the Presidential election will be held along with a significant number of state and local elections on Tuesday, November 3.

If you are a Parkland resident and want to have a voice regarding who makes it onto the November ballot, the Florida Primary Elections will be held on Tuesday, August 18.

If you have already registered to vote in Florida and are not changing party affiliation, then you're set to go. However, if you're thinking of changing party affiliation or haven't yet registered to vote, then your registration deadline is Monday, July 20.
