PARKLAND, FL- Florida and Broward County's Coronavirus cases continue at a high rate as the summer wears on. The government is attempting to make relevant decisions to keep people safe while still allowing for daily life to continue as much as possible.

Below are the current Broward and Parkland updates:

  • Private gatherings, no matter the location or being indoors or outdoors, are currently limited to 10 people or fewer.
     
  • Facial coverings are required while indoors in Broward County any time you are outside your home.
     
  • A Broward curfew in is effect from now until August 1st. The curfew is from 11 p.m. until 5 a.m. daily.
     
  • The City of Parkland Building Department is now open from 8 a.m. until 3 p.m. daily, instead of the normal hours of 7:30 a.m. until 5 p.m.
