PARKLAND, FL- The numbers of COVID-19 continue to rise in Florida. According to the latest report from the Florida Department of Health, there are 39,199 confirmed cases of COVID-19 and 1669 deaths in Florida. Parkland has a total number of 25 confirmed cases. Coral Springs has 217 confirmed cases of COVID-19. In all, Broward County has 5688 total cases, the second largest number in the state behind Miami-Dade's 13,664 cases.
Florida began Phase 1 of Re-Opening on Monday, May 4 except for South Florida.
