PARKLAND, FL- Florida showed another decrease in Coronavirus cases with just under 9,000. The percent of positive results ranged from 10.55% to 15.14% over the past 2 weeks and was 11.39% on Sunday, July 26, 2020. This percentage calculated is for people that test positive for the first time and does not include people that had previously tested positive.
Here are the current numbers as of the latest update on Monday, July 27, 2020:
Florida has 432,747 confirmed cases of COVID-19, an increase of 8,892 in 1 day.
Broward County has 50,784 confirmed cases, an increase of 1,434 in 1 day.
Parkland has 279 confirmed cases, an increase of 9 in 1 day.
Coral Springs has 2,113 confirmed cases, an increase of 62 in 1 day.
Deaths in Florida related to COVID-19: 5,931 an increase of 77 in 1 day.
Broward County has 3,072 (6.0%) hospitalizations with 607 (1.2%) deaths due to COVID-19. Deaths increased by 25 in 1 day. The median age is 39.
Broward County Hospital Bed Availability: Hospitals have 1021 (18.6%) beds available and 49 (9.2%) adult ICU beds available.
