The percent of positive results ranged from 10.54% to 15.12% over the past 2 weeks and was 11.43% on Friday, July 24, 2020. This percentage calculated is for people that test positive for the first time and does not include people that had previously tested positive.
Here are the current numbers as of the latest update on Saturday, July 25, 2020:
Florida has 414,511 confirmed cases of COVID-19, an increase of 12,199 in 1 day.
Broward County has 48,187 confirmed cases, an increase of 1,611 in 1 day.
Parkland has 264 confirmed cases, an increase of 11 in 1 day.
Coral Springs has 2,002 confirmed cases, an increase of 65 in 1 day.
Deaths in Florida related to COVID-19: 5,777 an increase of 124 in 1 day.
Broward County has 3,008 (6.3%) hospitalizations with 580 (1.2%) deaths due to COVID-19. Deaths increased by 34 in 1 day. The median age is 39.
Broward County Hospital Bed Availability: Hospitals have 907 (16.3%) beds available and 53 (9.8%) adult ICU beds available.
