PARKLAND, FL- The Parkland Chamber of Commerce will be hosting a free virtual meeting about managing business through the challenging Coronavirus season with Congressman Ted Deutch on Wednesday morning. The event will also feature Parkland Mayor Christine Hunschofsky, County Commissioner Michael Udine, and Steven Tinsley, Economic Development Manager for the Broward County Office of Economic and Small Business Development.
Corlette Deveaux, Parkland Chamber of Commerce Board Chairman, summarizes the situation.
"The Parkland Chamber of Commerce is extremely sensitive to the crisis the world and community are facing with COVID-19. We encourage our members and everyone to be safe and to follow the guidelines established by our leaders," says Deveaux. "As a chamber we are here to support our members and will continue to provide updated information as we receive it. We will practice social distancing by conducting our meetings and social events via Zoom until this crisis passes and our leaders indicate it is safe to return to business as we knew it in the past. We encourage our members to be safe and be well!"
The virtual meeting is open to the general public and begins at 8:30 a.m. on Wednesday, April 1.
