PARKLAND, FL- Nilson Silva and family are living the American dream. Born in Brazil, Silva's family moved to Deerfield Beach when he was 13 years old. Silva was always driven and wanting to make the best of his opportunities in South Florida, and he began pursuing a degree at Florida Atlantic University.

While at FAU, Silva had an opportunity to help build and fix swimming pools. The opportunities in the business world kept growing, so Silva left the academic world at FAU and began his dream of owning a business. He created MasterTouch Pool Service and never looked back.

MasterTouch handles everything pool related in the world of building, and the business has grown each year, including starting during the recession of 2009.
