PARKLAND, FL- Parkland residents can dispose of their household hazardous waste on Saturday, February 1, 2020, from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at 4181 Northwest 121st Avenue, Coral Springs.

Household hazardous waste includes drain cleaners, oven cleaners, metal polish, arts and crafts supplies, floor cleaners, dry cleaning fluid, radiator cleaners, rust preventatives, wood preservatives, wood strippers, oil-based paint, paint thinner, solvents, sealants, gasoline, antifreeze/engine coolant, brake fluid, transmission fluid, pesticides, herbicides, insect sprays, rodent killers, swimming pool chemicals, hydrochloric acid, fertilizer, batteries, kerosene, moth balls, bleach and electronics. 

Items not accepted include tires, ammunition, flares, fireworks and explosives.

A driver's license is required when dropping off hazardous waste. 

Household hazardous waste will not be accepted at a Broward County facility.
