PARKLAND, FL- In the wake of protests developing around the world in response to the death of Minnesota man George Floyd, Parklanders hosted a protest as well on Monday evening. Close to 100 locals gathered together in unison to express their solidarity with racial equality movements around the world. The group organized and held signs showing their support at the Heron Bay south entrance on Coral Ridge Drive. BSO Parkland Captain Chris Mulligan and officers observed the peaceful gathering from a distance across the street from the group.
