Everglades Fires Expected To Continue Pushing Smoke into Parkland and Coral Springs Over the Weekend

PARKLAND, FL – As ash from fires in the Everglades continue to rain down on western Broward County, winds were expected to pick up on Saturday and push more smoke across the region.

BSO: Person Found Dead in Parkland This Week Died of Self-Inflicted Wound

PARKLAND – Broward Sheriff's Office investigators have determined that the person who was found dead earlier this week in Parkland died of a self-inflicted wound, a spokeswoman said Thursday.

The person was found near Rising Tide Car Wash at 7201 North State Road 7.
