PARKLAND, FL- The Broward Sheriff's Office was busy on Friday evening, enforcing Parkland's stay at home restrictions. According to the BSO Parkland Twitter page, they broke up a large outdoor party in the community. BSO Parkland is reminding residents to practice social distancing.
The Parkland and Broward County stay-at-home order was enacted on March 26, 2020. Governor DeSantis then issued a stay-at-home order for the state of Florida on April 2, 2020.
"We need everyone to take the directives seriously and to practice social distancing. Do not take chances with your health and do not jeopardize the health of others. Be responsible, do the right thing, stay home, make a difference, be a hero," said Parkland Mayor Christine Hunschofsky.
